Accessibility Statement

We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people who navigate by keyboard, use a screen reader, or need larger text and higher contrast.

The standard we aim for

This site targets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

What we tested, and what we found

Rather than assert a standard, we measured against it. Every page was tested with axe-core at the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rule sets, on both a desktop and a mobile viewport. The current result is zero violations.

Testing found and we fixed two real problems: our brand blue failed the minimum contrast ratio where it had been used for text, and a secondary grey fell below the minimum against one of our background shades. Both were corrected in the color system rather than patched page by page.

We separately tested every page on emulated Android, iPhone and tablet screens for horizontal overflow, tap targets smaller than 44 by 44 pixels, and controls hidden behind other elements. Interactive controls meet the 44-pixel target size, headings follow a single H1 per page, form fields have visible labels, and a skip-to-content link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches.

Known limitations

The spam-protection widget on the contact page is supplied by Google and rendered inside a frame we do not control, so its accessibility is Google's rather than ours. If it prevents you from sending a message, please call or email us instead and we will not treat that as any disadvantage to you.

Where we link out to other sites, such as IRS.gov or our client portal, those sites set their own accessibility standards.

Telling us about a problem

If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, we want to know. Email sophie@haiglercpagroup.com or call (843) 214-0631, and tell us the page and what happened. We will fix what we can and offer another way to get you what you needed in the meantime.
